Highly colourful semi-abstract landscape, which is a celebration of intense colour, especially the crimson contrasted with the muted olive colours. The dream-like sky and surreal sense of land and lake are open to interpretation. Perhaps they invoke joy, perhaps creativity. This work was built in fine glazes and the final layer in thicker oils and palette knife work.
