The light at the centre of this piece represents trust. Trust is not a picture-card sentiment; the whole of society is based on it. We trust that people will honour contracts, that banks will not steal our money and critically, we place trust in our own selfhood. Becoming an artist is a monumental act of trust in one's own potential. This is what is being depicted here. Dark clouds part to give way to trusting one's own path.
