Minimalist monochrome work depicting the emergence of light from darkness.  Heavy brushtrokes were used unapologetically in this work to create a raw, painterly quality.  The bold, statement piece explores the contrast between black and white and any other polarities, which exist in a dual identity; one elucidated by the other.
