A deconstruction, using palette only, of a Renaissance painting by Dosso Dossi. There is a deliberate intention of seeing it as if from the perspective of rushing past. This is a large and imposing piece with rich, opulent tones which have been subdued. The blending has been left naïve to allow brushwork to be seen and to maintain the sense of motion.
Please note that if shipping afar, it may need to be taken off the wooden frame and restretched at the destination as this is a large work.
