This whimsical abstract has been painted in the expressivist style with an intensely rich and vibrant palette. Whilst there are clear influences of the garden or river, it is not meant to be a landscape painting as much as an interpretation of longing and the anticipated fulfilment. It is therefore a study of human emotion and depth of feeling.
