An unabashed contemporary take on weather, the rain in this modern piece is at once rainbow and downpour and the cloud is suspended in a neon pink sky. This work is an ode to the glory of weather and the jubilation to be found in the colours of nature. There is a careful balance in the palette here; the high impact pink is contrasted with the olive and ivory of the cloud and the darker magenta in the downstrokes. This grounds the viewer who is invited to fill the negative space with their own interpretation.
