This work is a surrealist depiction of our beautiful planet earth, floating above itself as a blue and white cloud.  The surface has been deliberately crackle-glazed and split to represent geographical features such as dried earth and veined skies.  Built using pumice, Liquin, oil and pigment, each layer in turn provides bonds and fractures and to celebrate the majestic wonder of our planet.
