Surreal abstract landscape.  The coral in this painting signifies freedom.  In my first ever home, I painted the hall ceiling of a beautiful old Victorian apartment this colour.  Ever since then, the colour has a resonance of autonomy and independence to me.  I've contrasted it with a deep brown to ground its vivacity.  The white elements could be water or cloud in that way that surreal, dream landscapes are not quite clear but seem natural.
